A: If your current hosting provider can no longer measure up to the demands of your web site, or when you face continuous network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the help desk team to respond to you, it might be a good idea to change your provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At TronLite Web Services, we are aware that this can be difficult and time–consuming. That is why we will do all that for you for free!Our highly qualified technical staff will transfer your website content from your present hosting provider to us. Our technicians have got extensive experience with website migration and can take care of anything – from a common WordPress blog or Joomla^™–driven site, to a very elaborate, custom–made app.

A: There are many factors to think about – the overall amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. Nevertheless, we do our best to carry out all web site migrations within a 48–hour window. Smaller–sized sites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We will require the login information for your old web hosting provider’s Control Panel and the web site’s name (domain name).

A: Before we can begin the transfer of your account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share exactly the same information you have given to your current web host. We’ve also got a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how private info is used.

A: Nope. Your web site will stay fully operational during the migration. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is alright, all you will have to do is edit your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: While we migrate your content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: We can migrate your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–based hosting platform as long as we can gain access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only web sites that we can’t transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
